In September 2012, TigerLion Arts presented the finale of The Dragons Are Singing Tonight ~ the musical tale of a nasty dragon at the Ivey Awards in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Held each year at the Historic State Theatre, the Ivey Awards celebrate excellence in Twin Cities theatre. Sharing the stage with Nasty the dragon were the Minnesota Boychoir, aerialist Anna Ostroushko of Circus Juventas, and actors Isabella Dawis, Tyson Forbes, Elise Langer, and Maxwell Chonk Thao. The spectacular dragon puppet was designed and created by Christopher Lutter-Gardella of Puppet Farm Arts, and Sky Brooks.
